Howdy,

First of all, do LED's currently exist in more than 3w? if so, how can i recognize/test the legitimacy of the LED?

i'll explain my situation. I'm currently in Kolkata, west bengal. Bengali people are generally known for being liars and cheaters. I'm caucasian and that right away alerts them to a big profit potential... seeing as i don't speak the language and when they give you the product you've requested there is no packaging, they just hand you a LED.
i'm currently looking for any LED's that are higher than 3w but when i ask for a sample 5w or 6w LED they just hand me some LED and say it's 6w... how shall i know what i'm getting?

i found 3 watt no problem really cheap. someone gave me two samples that were noticably brighter than the 3w i purchased.

if anyone has any information on LEDs greater than 3w please let me know, the information for me is invaluable at this point in time.

thanks

Arbiter
