Hi all ,new to this site, wondering if all you pros can help. i want to run an osram ostar 6 chip, its rated at 24vdc 700ma and consumes 15 watts. I already have a lm317 regulator with some caps but find its running visciously hot. Can anybody recommend a simple switch mode constant current driver, maybe using the micro stcs1 or zetex. A schematic and ratings would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks
